Terms of Service

Effective October 9, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and SupplyHouse Directory ("we", "us") for using supplyhouse.directory (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you use the Service for a company, you agree on its behalf.

1. The Service

A directory of building-material suppliers in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey, plus account tools: favorites, quote requests, quote import and a price catalog. The Service is free during beta. We may add, change or remove features, and we may introduce paid plans in the future. We will tell you before any charge would apply to you, and you won't be charged without agreeing to it.

2. Directory information

Listings come from publicly available sources and from suppliers themselves. We work to keep them accurate but can't guarantee that any listing, phone number, product, price or availability is correct or current. Always confirm details with the supplier. "Verified" means a person at the supplier confirmed the listing and the email address for quote requests. It is not an endorsement or a guarantee of their products, prices or service.

3. We're not part of your purchases

We don't sell materials, take orders or handle payments. Quotes, orders, deliveries and payments are between you and the supplier. We're not responsible for any supplier's or contractor's products, prices, delivery, work or conduct.

4. Your account

You must be at least 18. Give accurate information, keep your password secure, and let us know if you think someone used your account without permission. You're responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are for one person each.

5. Your content

"Your content" means what you add to the Service: quotes you upload, prices, notes, favorites, messages and claims. You keep ownership of it. You give us permission to store, process and display your content to you as needed to run the Service, for example reading an uploaded quote to fill in its line items. Only upload content you have the right to use. Your price catalog and uploaded quotes are private to your account.

6. Acceptable use

Don't:

• copy, scrape or bulk-download the directory, or resell or republish it;
• use quote requests or supplier contact details to send spam or unrelated marketing;
• claim a listing you're not authorized to represent, or impersonate anyone;
• upload anything illegal or harmful, or that you don't have the right to share;
• try to break, overload or get around the Service's security or access limits.

We may suspend or close accounts that do.

7. Suppliers

If you claim or list a yard, you confirm that you're authorized to act for that business and that the information you give us is accurate. We may verify, reject or remove claims and listings at our discretion. You can ask us to correct or remove your listing at any time.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Account → Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. If we discontinue the Service, we'll give reasonable notice where we can, so you can export your price catalog.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Line items read automatically from quotes may contain mistakes, so check them before relying on them.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your content or your misuse of the Service.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll notify account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Westchester County, New York.
